When will I get my 1099R?

Question: I am retired, and I want to file my taxes soon. When will I receive my 1099R from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM)?

Answer: OPM will send your 1099R after January 31. You should expect to receive it in the mail during the first or second week of February.
